Welcome to

Winnifred wind project

Enerfin Energy Company of Canada Inc. is developing the Winnifred Wind Project, of approximately 122 MW. The Project is located on privately-owned land approximately 5.5 km north of the hamlet of Whitla, in the County of Forty Mile No. 8, and Cypress County.

The Winnifred Wind Project will be connected to the existing Altalink 138 kV Bullshead substation located approximately 5km southwest of Medicine Hat.

The proposed locations of the project infrastructures (turbines, underground collector lines, access roads and substation) are indicated in the project map

However, the final location of turbines and infrastructure will be determined based on the results of the environmental field surveys and feedback received from stakeholders during the engagement activities.

More details about the Winnifred Wind Power can be found in the Project Notification package as well as the Poster boards from the Open House hosted on Thursday September 12th of 2019 in Seven Persons.

More details about the Winnifred Wind Power connection project can be found in the Project Notification package as well as a routing map of the proposed transmission line for this connection project.
